Iron Man VR Review: Experience the Rebellious Superhero with VR Game

So the wait is over, and Marvel’s Iron Man VR has finally arrived. This virtual reality game is one of the finest games that were tested out last year. There was so much hype from the beginning and the center of praise was Iron Man VR. Now that the game has finally arrived, it is confirmed that the game has met the expectations. After playing it will make you feel like you are the actual superhero in real life. Iron Man’s name is already famous, but this game truly provides a whole different experience while playing.

Can your PS4 Handle This?
Before the release, there were some stories that Iron Man VR will be on PSVR, and it was really a disappointment because most of the players had PS4 from 2013. PSVR was released in 2016; however, you can upgrade the software only if the hardware can handle that much load.
Same as the other gamers, I also had some concerns about the game, but after the launch and the way the game held up well, the concerns erased up pretty fast. While playing the game, I didn’t see any type of issues or bugs. By playing the game, it doesn’t seem like PSVR is getting used in its full capabilities; therefore, it is an excitement to see more advanced VR games.
While playing the game, the only thing that made me worried is that you need to prevent yourself from getting wrapped up into wires because there are many wires attached to the headset. If you don’t want to knock anything around you, better keep the distance from things and be careful from wires. Now here, developers have done some great things to keep the players safe. They have provided some alternative options for your comfort.
How is the Gameplay/Combat?
There’s one thing you should know that keeps yourself hydrated because while playing the game, you are going to take a lot of breaks. This is because you might have never played this type of VR game that demands so much physical movement of the body. It is one of those games that you remember for a long time because of VR and its gameplay. Flying in the game, the motion controllers, the headset with headphones, and while you are shooting blasters from your arms upward will take a lot from you. Your motions need to be accurate and fast to make yourself work in the game. Right now, you will not find any other game better than this one.
In terms of gameplay, you are the fighting Iron Man who is flying with two major weapons. Quick firing move repulses and the secondary firearm you can switch out and customize. When you make repulsor blasts, you will be required to hold your hands up, palm out. If you tilt your palm and make your wrist-mounted, your secondary firearm will come out. You can also launch the rocket punches that require holding down the controller button there you will throw a powerful hit. These weapons are extraordinary, and you will love it, but the hit of repulsors will do some great job if you try it often.
What’s Up with the Actual Story?
The story of Iron Man VR is original, and if you are a Marvel fan, you can easily tell that MCU inspires it. In the game, you will see Tony, who deals with consequences from his past when he was a weapon maker. However, now the main villain in the game is Ghost, who recently got his live-action debut in the “Antman and the Wasp.”
The story of the game is not that bad nor good, but if you look into this as overall, it is completely a solid storyline. There are some story plots when an explosion happens from your character off the camera.
Biggest Critique
There is no issue in the gameplay and storyline of the game, but the only thing that creates a fuss is the loading screen. This game is divided into several chapters, and every chapter contains multiple missions. Every time you finish a mission, you will be sent to the loading screen, and there you need to wait until the next mission starts. Sometimes the loading screen is quick, and sometimes it takes more than 1-2 minutes. So when you are using VR, it needs to be efficient. It is frustrating when spending extra time on waiting, and this is the only thing that needs to be taken care of.
