The Shooting of Black Panther 2 Will Begin in July 2021

The sequel to the 2018 blockbuster “Marvel’s Black Panther” will commence its production in July of next year.

The sources of The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that Tenoch Huerta (renowned for the Netflix series “Narcos: Mexico”) will be joining the cast of the film, which will be helmed by Ryan Coogler.

Brace yourself.

A long-awaited Black Panther sequel is not far from getting made. Marvel’s plans for Phase 4 have now started to take shape. The long-awaited film had to be sidelined from its planned March 2021 production commencement due to the tragic death of the star of the first film Chadwick Boseman with both the filmmaker and the studio trying to find a way from the unprecedented sadness.

Now, it looks like they have forced themselves into realizing the fact that moving on is inevitable. All in all, it has been a very sad year for Marvel fans. Very disappointing.

However, though the pandemic still has the world below its toes and the theaters are still reeling with uncertainty, Marvel has upped the ante because it is now going to embark on what will be the busiest year since the studio’s inception. Marvel has not only a lot of pending movies to worry about but also the Disney+ series, which are being eagerly awaited by the fans.

Now multiple sources of the media houses are telling that Marvel is gearing up for Black Panther 2 production, which is going to kick start in Atlanta in the month of July. The period of the production will be around six months.

Tenoch Huerta, renowned as the star of the Netflix show Narcos: Mexico is already in talks with Marvel to star in the upcoming film as the antagonist. Old actors who are going to return for the second film are Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, and Winston Duke. There are some rumors circulating around the internet that suggest to us that the Duke will take on a more important role this time around.

Marvel made no comment on the whole issue and has maintained silence over how it is planning to proceed without its talisman Chadwick Boseman. In fact, there is hardly anything that Marvel has revealed about the film.

However, there are rumors and that too from very reliable YouTubers like Grace Randolph that Marvel is all set to use the CGI to fill in the void left by the actor. The rumors reveal to us that Marvel will use computer graphics to bring Boseman back to life.

While you can rest assured that MCU films will go into the productions soon, it is the Disney+ tv series like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye that are now under skepticism from Marvel CEO Kevin Feige and his entourage.

A source who is well aware of the inside talks within the walls of the Marvel headquarters has revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the priority of the Marvel studio is now shifting towards the tv series as the films are well planned, and the teams are raring to hit the floors soon.

The Next MCU product that will come to our screens is WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany on January the 15th, 2020.
