Locate Dratini Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Dratini is a fan-favorite Pokemon because its third evolution from Dragonite is compelling. The recent Crown Tundra DLC expansion of Pokemon Sword and Shield has brought plenty of new and previous generation Pokemon. Among several returned Pokemon, Dratini is also included, and fans are really happy with Game Boy and Nintendo’s decision. The returned Pokemon can be acquired through transfer, or players can also find them in the wild.

In Pokemon Sword and Shield, trainers are allowed to transfer their Pokemon from Pokemon Home. Players can evolve their Dratini into Dragonair at level 30 and Dragonite at level 55. It seems a fair deal for the trainers because Dragonite is powerful. Players who are still playing the Isle of Armor DLC will not get Dratini. They need to play the latest Crown Tundra DLC to acquire and play with Dratini.

During the adventure, Dratini can spawn anywhere. However, it usually spawns near the water body areas. Players who are playing Crown Tundra DLC since the launch, they’ve found Dratini, but it took them a long time to locate one. If Dratini is in the water, players can recognize it from its small white head fins easily. The great thing is that it has an incredible encounter rate, and it does not get affected by the weather or time.

The minimum catch rate of Dratini is 11.9%. It’s a proper Dragon-type Pokemon that has its weaknesses. Dragon-type Pokemon are weak against Fairy, Dragon, and Ice-type moves. Once you have Dratini, it will only take two levels of upgrading to evolve fully. Dragonite is not a legendary Pokemon, but its strength and attacks make it worth acquiring.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra DLC are getting appreciated by almost every fan. The main reason behind the positive response is that players haven’t got a proper update for a long time. Indeed, developers have continuously provided new events and challenges in the game, but fans have always wanted something extraordinary. Now that the Crown Tundra DLC has arrived, fans are happy and excited to explore more. In Crown Tundra, developers have added new locations, a new environment that is inspired by Scotland. Apart from location, developers have added new Legendary Pokemon as well.

The biggest Legendary Pokemon of Crown Tundra are Galarian ArticunoZapdos, and Moltres. All these Pokemon have appeared in a new form and new abilities with new types.

Because Dratini usually appears in the water, some fans may assume that it’s a water-type Pokemon. However, that’s not the case because after evolving it in its third form, it turns out a Dragon/Flying-type Pokemon.

Conclusion

Players that are playing Pokemon games for a long time, they are fully aware of the evolution. Currently, players have only seen Dratini in water, but there must be more Crown Tundra places where players can catch more Dratini. After reaching level 55, players can easily evolve their Dragonair into Dragonite.
