How to Fix iCloud Photo Library Issues?

Sometimes some iCloud Photos albums or videos seem to disappear from the device. There are many users reported that even videos are not playing or showing up on iPhone or iPad screens even if they have enabled iCloud Photos on their devices.  They found some of the photos are missing from the phone. In case you are also facing issues related to iCloud Photos, then follow these fixes.

Searching Photos in Different Sections of iCloud

In case you are unable to fetch contents and pictures related to a file, then you need to check various storage sections of iCloud. The photos you are searching for might be located in the All Photos album.

  • First of all, you need to launch the Photos app directly on your iOS device.
  • Then, hit Photos located at the lowermost left-hand side section.
  • Now, choose the All Photos view option.
  • You can see all your videos and photos organized into the section as per the schedule when you clicked or captured them.
  • In case you are thinking a few of your images or videos are still not appearing in the list, there are several procedures to find them by syncing each of them accurately.

Checking Recently Removed Folder

One can easily check the recently removed folder containing your desired images or videos you are searching for. These folders might have been deleted accidentally from iCloud Photos by you and any other person using the device.

  • In order to check your recently removed folders on your device, follow these instructions:
  • First of all, open the Photos app directly on your iOS device.
  • Then, hit the Albums tab there.
  • Now, scroll down the page and then press the Recently Deleted option.
  • In case you got any video or photo that was accidentally deleted from your iPhone or iPad, then you need to tap it and then press the Recover option.
  • Tap the Recover button once more to authenticate.
  • Wait a while; you will get all your photos and videos removed unintentionally from your iOS gadget.

Login to all Devices with Same Apple ID

In case you are syncing your devices with different Apple IDs, then your images and videos don’t sync with iCloud services. To sync them all with a secure iCloud service, you need to sync them all with the same Apple ID. It helps to sync all your content properly between various devices with iCloud Photos functionality.

Pursue these instructions to sync all your contents with the same Apple ID by signing in to iCloud Account:

  • At the start, open the Settings page on your iOS device.
  • Then, hit the Your Name option located at the right-hand side section of the uppermost screen area where you will see various features related to Apple ID, iTunes, iCloud, and App Store.

Note: The respective email and name synced to your Apple ID will show up at the uppermost section of the screen. You have to ensure that the Apple ID is the same on all your iOS gadgets.

  • In case, you have more than one device and are signed-in with different Apple IDs; then you will require logging out and then login with the unique Apple ID for all your devices. To do so, follow these tips:
  • At the start, you have to launch the Settings page on your iOS device.
  • Then, press the “Your Name” tab available at the right-hand side section of the top screen area.
  • Now, scroll the page down and then press the “Sign-Out” tab.
  • Next, verify it by pressing the option “Sign Out” once again.
  • After that, you need to scroll back and then press the option “Sign in to your iPhone.”
  • Type the same Apple ID, mail address, and passcode that you have used on your other devices.
  • Then, press the Next tab.
  • Once all the gadgets are signed in with the same Apple ID, the iCloud Photos contents will sync across each gadget. It may take some time for each thing to get it synced. So keep patience and wait for the syncing process to complete. It’s good to check your iCloud Photos files the next day to make sure that each section has appropriately synced. You need to avoid corrupted items on your iCloud Photos as it may display some related or annoying errors.

By following the tips and tricks mentioned above, you will be able to effectively fix iCloud Photo library issues.
