- If your Twitch account doesn’t exist, sign up for the same.
- Once you’ve logged in with your account, click on the ‘Get Started’ option.
- Select your default mic. In case you’re using headphones with a mic, Twitch recognizes the same automatically and sets it as your default device. However, you can change the same anytime.
- Next, select your default webcam.
- Select a stream layout, for instance, main layout, chatbox, etc. You can also select the widgets if you want to include any. You can create a customized layout, and the recommended size is 1920 X 1080 pixels.
- Once you select a layout, click on the ‘Continue to Settings’ option.
- You’ll be headed to the stream quality settings window. However, Twitch optimizes the settings by default, you can change these settings anytime. To customize these settings, click on the ‘Tweak Settings’ option.
- After making the changes, hit the ‘Continue to App’ button.
- The dashboard will open. Select ‘Start Stream’ at the bottom of the screen to start streaming.
