‘Man with a Plan’ is a Sitcom television series that cast Friends star Matt LeBlanc, who is also the executive producer of the show. The show’s other producers are Gregg Mettler, Michael Rotenberg, James Burrows, Troy Zien, including the creators. The series is created by Jackie and Jeff Filgo, and the show initially aired in October 2016. The recent season of the show came out in June 2020, which makes a total of 69 episodes over four seasons.
After airing the fourth season on CBS, fans are expecting the series to continue as the sitcom show gained a massive fan following. Unfortunately, the new season of the ‘Man with a Plan’ has been canceled, as announced by the network. The cancelation of the show was announced even before the episodes of season four got aired.
The show has been loved by the audience and received an exceptional response, while the critics, on the other hand, criticized the show. The site’s critical corner says that the show underperformed than the expectations, and the writing failed to showcase the charm. The recent season of the show also acquired good ratings, despite which the fans have to bid goodbye to their favorite sitcom sequence.
Other than Matt, the lead cast of the show includes Liza Snyder, Grace Kaufman, Hala Finley, Matthew McCann, Jessica Chaffin, and Matt Cook. The stars were appreciated for their on-screen performance, and the series won two awards in People’s Choice Awards in 2017.
The show revolves around a contractor named Adam Burns, played by Matt LeBlanc, who lives with his wife and three children in Suburban Pittsburgh. Adam thinks that managing children is as easy as having a cup of tea, but comes to a realization when his wife Andi goes back to work. What happens and what sort of roller coaster ride it is for him to manage his children, you’ll know more after watching the show.
The cancelation of such a show that just started receiving a positive response is its high production cost. Unluckily, the high budget of the show forced CBS to stop giving any further thoughts to its sequel, and that is a piece of heart-breaking news for its fans. Not only this, but the network also called off other shows like Carol’s Second Act, Broke, and Tommy.
Though the makers won’t renew the next season, you can still enjoy a pack of 69 episodes that came out distributed amongst four seasons. The show surely will make you laugh and you can refresh its incidences as it’s available on CBS to binge-watch.
