- Go to the ‘Home’ app.
- Click on the ‘Rooms’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Move to the right or left to jump to a room that has the camera.
- Click on the camera thumbnail.
- Move along the timeline or select the desired date from the calendar.
- Select the ‘Motion Event.’
- Click on the ‘Share’ icon present on the left side of the screen.
- Hit the ‘Next’ button on the top-right corner.
- Click on the ‘Save Video’ option. The video will directly get saved to the ‘Photos’ app on your device.
Share Recorded Video in the Home App
The steps to share the recorded video on the ‘Home’ tab are:
- Go to the ‘Home’ app.
- Click on the ‘Rooms’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Move to the right or left to jump to a room that has the camera.
- Click on the camera thumbnail.
- Move along the timeline or select the desired date from the calendar.
- Select the ‘Motion Event.’
- Click on the ‘Share’ icon present on the left side of the screen.
- Hit the ‘Next’ button on the top-right corner.
- Select the ‘Contact’ option to share the video recording. You can share the recordings using third-party applications like Twitter, Messages, etc.
Note: You can also share these recordings with your iCloud Photo Albums.
Delete Recorded Video in the Home App
The steps to delete the recorded video on the ‘Home’ tab are:
- Go to the ‘Home’ app.
- Click on the ‘Rooms’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Move to the right or left to jump to a room that has the camera.
- Click on the camera thumbnail.
- Move along the timeline or select the desired date from the calendar.
- Select the ‘Motion Event.’
- Click on the ‘Share’ icon present on the left side of the screen.
- Hit the ‘Trash’ icon appearing on the right side of the timeline.
- A pop-up menu will appear. Select ‘Delete Clip.’
