Ghost of Tsushima is currently the best samurai game that is exclusively available in PlayStation 4. The storyline ending of Ghost of Tsushima is simply amazing and memorable. However, the beginning of the game slightly confused the players. Ghost of Tsushima left the players and Jin at odds with the “Khotun Khan” who was willing to conquer Tsushima at any cost. The main motive of Khotun Khan is to conquer the mainland of Japan and Tsushima. Khotun Khan once defeated Jin, and it was embarrassing for him. Now it comes with no surprise for Jin that, in the end, he has to face the leader of the Mongol empire (Khotun Khan) once again.
Khotun Khan is a strong and brutal leader who perfectly understands Jin’s moves. Khotun Khan is well aware of Jin’s techniques for battle, so he performs all possible counter attacks to defeat Jin easily. In this situation, players can use their “mythic tales techniques” that are earned from completing the side quests.
The experience of fighting with Khotun Khan will be very different from all other battles. Most of the attacks of Khotun Khan are unblockable, except the “string of light” and “horizontal attacks.” Jin has to dodge those attacks because it can’t be blocked. To keep Jin safe from the attacks of Khotun Khan, players have to first understand every move and then dodge them before getting hit. Khotun has two major combat stances, and each one has a separate moveset.
When Khotun’s sword is on his left-hand side, he will either perform the “three spinning sweeps,” “the light attacks,” or a “downward slam.” Among the three, two attacks can be dodged easily, and the lightning attacks will create an opening for the player to perform an attack.
Khotun may switch his grip to hold the sword with just one hand. If he chooses to hold the sword with one hand, he is arranging to perform an unblockable attack. For players, it might be quite challenging to dodge these attacks. In this situation, it is necessary to use defensive moves to avoid extreme damage. However, it is quite impossible to attack Khotun when he performs the combat stances. Players can only avoid these attacks and wait for him to switch his grips once again.
Defeating the Khotun is not even easy for the professional players, because his every single hit gives extreme damage to Jin. Indeed, Khotun doesn’t open himself a lot, but his “dance of wrath” and “heavenly strike” like moves will offer opportunities for Jin to perform an attack. When Khan is about to use “dance of wrath” and “heavenly strike” moves, players will have a slight chance to hit the opponent. Players can also use that slight chance to heal, but if they are already filled, they can utilize the time to attack. So ultimately, in battle, patience is the key that will help players to win against an opponent whose attacks are unblockable.
Conclusion – In such a short time, the Ghost of Tsushima earned massive popularity. Khotun Khan is among the strongest opponents in the game that can’t be defeated with just weapons. To win from Khan, players have to use the right moves at the right time.
