iPhone SE vs. iPhone 11: The features and upgrades that you can get by spending extra

The new iPhone SE (2020) is the successor of the old iPhone SE launched in 2016. The new iPhone Se comes with a price tag of $399 and mainly focuses on budget-minded users who may not want to spend lots of money on expensive mobiles like iPhone 11 Pro.
Apple has made lots of changes in the iPhone SE for making it cheaper than the iPhone 11 Pro. Despite that, the new iPhone SE comes with a 4.7-inch display, A13 processor (Similar to iPhone 11) single rear camera, wireless charging, and water resistance. So, if you want to buy an iPhone but don’t want to spend lots of money on, then the new iPhone SE is the phone for you. However, if you are ready to pay an extra $300, you can buy the iPhone 11.
Here is what you get by spending an extra $300 on iPhone 11
 Bigger screen and better cameras
The iPhone 11 comes with a 6.1-inch display as compared to a 4.7-inch display in iPhone SE. iPhone SE comes with 7 MP front camera and 12 MP rear camera. Whereas iPhone 11 comes with a 12 MP rear camera and 12 MP front camera. So, if you want a bigger screen and a better camera, go for iPhone 11.
Size and design as compared to iPhone 11
As mentioned above, iPhone 11 is larger than iPhone SE, which gives you more space for your apps and videos. iPhone 11 has a “Liquid Retina HD” display while the new iPhone SE comes with a “Retina HD” display. iPhone SE has a home button that you can use to return to the home screen or call. The home button also consists of a fingerprint reader that can be used for unlocking your phone and authorizing digital payments. While the iPhone 11 uses Face ID for all the security and payment authorization purposes.
Both the devices are IP certified and water-resistant. However, the iPhone 11 has an IP68 rating, while iPhone SE has an IP67 rating, which makes the iPhone 11 more resistant to water. Finally, iPhone SE comes only in 3 colors: black, white, and red. While the iPhone 11 comes in 6 colors: black, white, red, pastel yellow, green, and purple.
iPhone 11 has a powerful camera
iPhone SE has a single 12 MP rear camera that can be used to capture great images for Instagram and normal video recording. Whereas if you care more about Photography and want more tools to make every picture that you click look amazing, then iPhone 11 is the phone for you.
The iPhone 11 has a 12 MP front, rear camera with a second wide-angle lens, which makes it the perfect pick for taking landscape photos and dramatic photos at a close distance. You also get features like Low-light camera mode and night mode, which can help you take amazing pictures in dim lighting.
Besides, this iPhone 11 selfie camera is also better than the selfie camera in iPhone SE. It can record 4k videos. Whereas iPhone SE can only record 1080p videos. You can also use iPhone 11 for recording slow-motion videos, but you can’t do that with iPhone SE.
Processor and battery
One of the best things about the iPhone SE is that despite being a budget phone, Apple has put an A13 processor in it like the iPhone 11, which is absolutely amazing when it comes to performance. When it comes to battery capacity like always, Apple hasn’t released information about the iPhone SE’s battery capacity. However, Apple has mentioned on its website that iPhone SE has run time similar to iPhone 8, and if that’s true, then the device has a small battery capacity compared to iPhone 11.
Our View
iPhone SE is a budget phone that aims to serve users who don’t want to spend lots of money. The phone also has an A13 processor similar to iPhone 11. However, iPhone 11 has a better display and camera and more battery backup. Therefore, if you want a better camera, display, and battery backup, then iPhone 11 is the phone for you. But if you don’t want to spend lots of money, you can go for iPhone SE.
