- Once you reach the ‘WindowsNoEditor’ and select the GameUserSettings.ini file and right-click on it.
- Then choose the ‘Edit with Notepad’ option.
- Once you reach the Notepad, move down to locate the line wherever it says ‘PreferredGraphicsAPI’ then modify DX12 to DX11.
- Later, store the file.
- Now, reboot the system and reopen the Borderlands 3.
Run a Clean Boot
Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Go to the Run section.
- Then input ‘msconfig’ into it and select the OK button to invoke the System Configuration.
- You should select the ‘Services’ section and mark the box of ‘Hide all Microsoft services’ and select the ‘Disable all’ button.
- After that, choose the Startup section and pick the ‘Open Task Manager’ option.
- Beneath the Startup section, choose every item, and pick the Disable button.
- Get back to the System Configuration and choose the OK button.
