How to Fix Borderlands 3 not Launching?

Borderlands 3 is amongst the best fully action-packed games given by Gearbox software.  But according to some players, they are facing launching issues due to out-of-date drivers, software conflicts or corrupt files, etc. Read on and learn how to fix Borderlands 3 not launching issue.
Confirm Integrity of Game Files
Follow the steps given below:
  1. Once you reach the ‘Epic Game Launcher,’ select the Library option.
  2. After that, choose the icon of a cog at the lower right side of the Borderlands 3.
  3. Now, select the ‘Verify’ button and wait to finish the confirmation.
Run as Administrator
Follow the steps given below:
  1. Go to the icon of ‘Epic Games Launcher’ on the desktop then choose the Properties option.
  2. After that, select the section of ‘Compatibility’ then mark the box of ‘Run this program as an administrator.’
  3. Then select the Apply and then OK button.
  4. Later, select the directory wherever you installed the Borderlands 3, then perform the file of .exe as administrator too.
  5. Now, reopen the Borderlands 3 through the ‘Epic Games Launcher.’
Looking for Windows Updates
Follow the steps mentioned below:
  1. Navigate to the Search section on your system.
  2. After that, input ‘updates’ into it and select the OK button.
  3. Then choose the ‘Check for updates’ option.
  4. In case you see any update, you should select the ‘Download’ button and pursue the steps to complete installing.
Revert to DX11
Here are the steps you need to follow:
  1. Go to the system and visit ‘%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 3\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\.’
  2. Once you reach the ‘WindowsNoEditor’ and select the GameUserSettings.ini file and right-click on it.
  3. Then choose the ‘Edit with Notepad’ option.
  4. Once you reach the Notepad, move down to locate the line wherever it says ‘PreferredGraphicsAPI’ then modify DX12 to DX11.
  5. Later, store the file.
  6. Now, reboot the system and reopen the Borderlands 3.
Run a Clean Boot
Follow the steps mentioned below:
  1. Go to the Run section.
  2. Then input ‘msconfig’ into it and select the OK button to invoke the System Configuration.
  3. You should select the ‘Services’ section and mark the box of ‘Hide all Microsoft services’ and select the ‘Disable all’ button.
  4. After that, choose the Startup section and pick the ‘Open Task Manager’ option.
  5. Beneath the Startup section, choose every item, and pick the Disable button.
  6. Get back to the System Configuration and choose the OK button.
  7. Now, reboot the system and try to launch the game again.
