Hanna is an American web TV series that is full of action and drama. This series is based on a 2011 action-thriller of the same name that was directed by Joe Wright. The first season of the series was released in 2019 with a total of eight episodes. Also, its second season aired in 2020, again with a total of eight episodes. The writer and the creator of the series were David Farr while it was directed by Sarah Adina Smith.
Earlier the word was that the series wouldn’t be renewed for the next season. However, the show makers and Amazon Studios have brought excellent news for its audience and fans. They’ve announced a new season to be renewed in July 2020 and are all set to release a big show. “To be able to continue that vision is the greatest gift by Amazon and NBCU,” David mentioned.
The cast of the series includes Esme Creed-Miles, Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman, Dermot Mulroney, and Noah Taylor in the lead, while Katie Clarkson Hill, Khalid Abdalla, Cherrelle Skeete, Justin Salinger, Anthony Welsh, and Andy Nyman, as supporting characters. All the characters from season one and two are expected to return in its next series as well, which has brought a lot of joy to its fans.
The Hanna series revolves around a fifteen-year-old girl who lives with her father, the only man she knew in her entire life. By the end of the first season, Hannah gets to know about who she is and her skills. Also, she is aware of the Ultrax program. In season two, she tries to rescue her friend Clara by putting herself at risk. The last episode of season two was full of action while Hanna manages to hold off the Ultrax.
Season three will most likely pick up from the cliff-hanging point of season two and unfold the next instances from the life of Hannah. Not only this, but the new season is also expected to have a total of eight episodes, just like the last two.
Sadly, there is no trailer out for Hanna Season 3, but it is most likely to be out before a month or two of the release. Also, for the audience who has not watched Hanna, or the fans who want to binge-watch the episodes again, the first two seasons are streaming on Amazon Prime.
